Axolotl is legal in California now

I just checked the DFW law and regulation and it seem like that under restricted species they lifted the ban on Ambystoma. The only restricted amphibian is now the Marine Toad. Did everyone knows this? Please verify with me because I am dying to get a tiger salamander or an axolotl and now it seem like it possible.

I’d also like to know! Can you post a link to the law you mentioned? I want to read it for myself but I can’t find it.
