So i've heard that its not uncommon for axolotls to lose some of their color as they get older.
but my little dude is recovering from stress of a tank swap (lost all his gill hairs) and i realized that he seemed to be getting lighter colored as each day passed and is now almost completely white with only a few marks on his head.
it seems like the color loss coincides with the stress/gill loss.
his gill hairs are just barely growing back and i want to make sure he'll be okay.
water parameters are normal.
ive got a few pictures,
the first one was a few weeks after i got him.
second is him three weeks before the tank swap and stress.
and the other two are him from yesterday.
i just want to make sure there is nothing wrong with him that im possibly over looking.
please please please help, im super worried...
