Axolotl or other salamander

Hi friends, help me with this interrogant, the salamander in this picture is ambystoma mexicanum or ambystoma tigrinum or other, i want buy a axolotl but i´m not sure if is a really axolotl. Thanks.

I'll say with like 99% certainty that it's a tiger salamander. The elongated fins, curved gills and color point towards tiger.

Yes, this is definitely not an axolotl. It's another Ambystoma species, not exactly sure what.

I would also agree that that isn't an axolotl. I would say it's a tiger salamander larvae. The coloring would be a little odd if it were indeed an axolotl. The gills, like someone else has already said, are a little more elongated than what would be typical for an axolotl. So I would agree and say with at least 99% certainty that that is a tiger salamander.
