Question: Axolotl poop

I have had a 3 inch axie for a couple of months now and every now and then I see some dark brown/blackis ovals. Is this just his poop?

Almost certainly. best thing to do is get yourself a turkey baster, cut the tip of it off and use it to remove those when you see them.
