Axolotl PVC pipe hide help

Hi! So I just bought two PVC pipes for my axolotl Mudkip. I was trying to get the stickers off the PVC pipe but the residue from the stickers stayed on the pipes. Will this cause any problems? How should I remove the rest of the residue? THANK YOU!!!!

You could try hot water? I would be hesitant to use anything like dish soap

"isopropyl alcohol" fully evaporates rinse off anyway, "vodka" harmless to aquatic life (don't want them drunk) in small doses (it is used in aquariums to carbon dose) the alcohol will remove adhesives, "sand paper" will also give pipe a rough feel easier for axie to grip, or just use boiling water.
