Hello,

Do axolotls use the same water conditioners like the ones used for
aquarium fish?

Thank you

Hi Jauguar12345 and welcome to the forum.

Yes, water for axolotls uses the same dechlorinator as the water for tropical fish. Different people use different ones, some people say that the dechlorinators with aloe vera are good for axolotls, so people say that aloe vera is bad for axolotls. It probably depends on axolotl and owner preference.
I have used several, and am currently using Tetra AquaSafe for all of my tanks.
I hope that the information in the following links is also helpful.
