Axolotl Sexing

Hi Guys,
Can someone maybe help me with my Axie's sex?
I am pretty new at this, and I thought it was a girl - But i'm not too sure

I think it's still too early to tell. I'd probably guess male for fun though.

Has his mouth been agape for some time? It could be nothing but he appears to have some swelling around his jaw as though he might have something stuck. Has he been eating normally?

He sometimes keeps his mouth open - But he is eating like a maniac
He usually opens his mouth when I go close to the tank (probably expecting food)

Otherwise he is completely healthy and stoked with life

Is it something to be concerned about?

Looks like it is still to early to tell.

Yeah, to small to tell. They need to be 7-8" or over 12 months to be sure, and even then they can take you surprise you.
