How large (cm/in) are axolotls generally supposed to be at age 4.5 months?

Depends entirely on the genetics and nutrition of the axie in question.
At 4 months I would expect and axie to be anywhere from 3 to 5 inches.

Okay, thanks. I guess mine might be a little large then, they're 7', 8", & 9". When does the growing slow down?

You've obviously got some giants there then! Generally at about 6 months they slow down a bit, to full size at around 12 months. Looks like you'll have some over a foot long...

Oh wow, okay haha. I guess I'll prepare to have giants then, thanks.
