I just got a new filter for my axies tank and I was hoping that someone could give me some advice. I am new to cycling tanks and I'm not sure if the filter has to be cycled or if I can just put the new filter in? Could I use filter media from the old filter to help the process?

If your old filter is from a cycled tank you should absolutely use it in the new filter.
