Axolotl water change

For the basic stuff I won't get into it but my tank is cycle and my paramaters are perfectly fine.

Hey I just did 20% water change in my axie tank and my guy is like freaking out and I have no clue why? I do a water change once a week as usual. I use prime as my conditioner and I measure it very closely to ensure the proper dose. He's swimming around frantically, against the glass, and darting from one side of the tank to another. Has anybody dealt with this? Thanks in advance.

I would do immediate tests/checks of the ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and temperature. The water could have been affected by any number of factors. It's possible that your water supply has been externally affected as well, so if the above parameters seem fine, I'd look into that possibility.
