Axolotl won't poop.

My little guy is close to a year old. I took really good care of him I feed him a diet of axolotl pellets and worms the only problem I have with him is he has not pooped in at least a month his water temperature is regularly 64 to 68 degrees and his water parameters are always fine what do I do if someone please post with experience I have none with salamanders.

I feed my axolotls mainly with earthworms, sometimes a few pellets when earthworms are difficult to find.

I rarely see the poop, which is mainly made of mud (loam) and goes is the sand within a few minutes.
But my animals are fine, so I'm not stressed with this.

Hello Axolotl lovers,

We're having the same problem. Our water cycle crashed after we came back from vacation and so our axolotl (Mochi) was tubbed for about 2 weeks while we got it back to good parameters.

In that timespam he only pooped once which is odd because he usually poops once a day. Since he was put back in his aquarium he still hasn't pooped nd the water temp has stayed around 60 degrees.

I read that some people tub their axolotls in the frig, but that sounds kind of scary to us.

Has anyone had any experience with axolotl constipation?
