Axolotls on dark

Hi,
Is there any information that is bad for the axolot to be kept only in the dark, without any natural light? I know that direct sunlight is not good.

I doubt it. Axolotls come from areas that naturally don't have a lot of light. I can't remember where this one habitat photo was, but they come from murky sedimentary waters with low light.
