I think one my four juvies went on a rampage on sunday- one baby now has a leg that ends at the 'elbow', and another has a leg that is red from the same point. The baby is just over 3" long, so it's quite hard to see quite what the damage is- it's definitely attached, and it *might* still be moving it, I'm not sure.
They've both been separated into individual temporary tubs, but what else should I do? the one with the missing leg looks like a clean cut, no sign of fungus or anything dodgy, so I'm currently not too worries about it- but the one with the red leg is worrying me a bit. Would a pre-emptive salt bath be a good idea? Fridging? Just leaving it and keeping an eye?
I'm a bit concerned that at the size they are, I won't notice a problem until it's serious...
I'll try and get a pic, but it's hard to photograph them from the side in the little emergency tub.
