Backwards Arm

Hello!
I am new to the forum and wanted to share my special axolotl with you all. He had is arm bitten off by another axolotl before I got him, but while I had him his arm grew back fully but backwards! I am wondering if I did something wrong? Or if this just happens.

I highly doubt it was anything you did. I've known a few Axoltol whos limbs grow back slightly irregular.
