Ok there aren't any bees in the frog viv and I don't intend to put any in there.

But suddenly I have 4 bees in my house. And for a minute I thought one had found its way through the fine mesh screen into the frog viv. It hadn't.

But it made me wonder.... what would happen if one got in there and was eaten or stung a frog?

My initial thought would be that the frog/toad/caudate would die, but...

I have seen one or two pictures of toads eating wasps, which may mean that certain Amphibians have a resitance, or the photographer shooting the scene set it up.

What frogs do you keep?

I doubt that there would be any negative reaction either way. Most likely they would never really contact each other, but even if they did i'm not sure it would injure the frog.

They are Whites' Tree frogs - nothing spectacular I'm afraid but they are quite endearing and entertaining.

With the bees in the house and the largest frog leaping about the tank (I'm beginning to think 40gls is not enough!) I wondered what would happen if the bee found its way into the tank. She REALLY wanted that bee!!

I've seen frogs eat wasps and bees many times with no ill effects. I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks for the definitive answer John! In the future I'll have no wondering or worries! I am not being a smartazz either.
