I have tried to feed my six/seven month old axie cut up red wigglers a couple times now. I make sure to cut the pieces no longer than his head is wide. He doesn’t have a problem eating them, but the next day, he bloats the size of the balloon. It usually takes a couple days of tentative feeding bloodworms and hospital care before he’s back to normal. I’ve tried twice now with the red wigglers and got the same result both times. He’s only 4 inches long, not very big for a six or seven month old, and I have a feeling he’s not going to grow very much on a diet of bloodworms. That is the only food I’ve found that doesn’t upset his stomach. Any suggestions?

If he eats the worms and gets bloated, try feeding him daphnia, they help with constipation and bloating.😀
