Boiling?

I have some secondhand hidey places and ordermants that I want to put into my tank. I know I have to boil them but for how long? Also I want to put in some pvc corner pipes for them to hide in, do they need to be boiled too?

Boiling for 10-15 minutes is generally enough to kill all but the most resistant organisms and there is little chance of encountering them. The PVC is fine to use as is but should be rinsed to remove any dirt etc.
