I have 3 female oriental firebellies in my group, the first two are adults(one CB, one 4 years LTC), and the other is a CB sub adult.
On saturday, about 120 eggs were laid, i'm not sure who laid them, but i presume, by the numbers, it was 2 of the females.
This morning, i found another clutch of eggs laid, i know which female laid them. Question is, could she have had another clutch of eggs just 3 days after the last? or did my sub adult lay some eggs?
Also, i wont realistically be able to rear 200 eggs. With other frog species, any weak ones would become food for my little musk turtle, although im not sure whether the tadpoles have the toxins? anyone know?
Other than that, what will eat the tadpoles, or are there any other ways of getting rid of the weaker ones?
thanks
