Boys?

Can anyone tell from these shots if I have girls or boys.

I will try to get some top view shots as well it may be easier to tell.

Oh and the white marks and bronze spots on the dark coloured wild type are reflections from the glass not part of his markings

The first one's probably a young male. The other one could be female.

How old/long are they?

I think they are both girls. It depends on their age. How long are they?

They look they my female axie- our man axie has a big lump under his tail!!

Sorry for the delay answering.

Ollie is the daker and smaller one at 9 cm (4"). Hendrix is about 18 cm (8") I was given this one as a boy (as its sex as opposed to being given it in my youth) and its not clear in the photo but it has a bulge behind each back leg.

The smaller one came from a pet shop and they had no idea of its sex or age.

I hope they are one of each. Neither are feeling very photogenic at the moment so I havent been able to get any clearer shots.

Having seen the shape of Jeffreys backside there is no mistaking that he is male, laying spermataphore every 4-6 weeks is also a help! I am begining to suspect that my gold one is female as there is no real shape under the tail and she is now a similar size to Jeffers. I think yesterday that I spotted that 'her' finger tips have darkened a tad. Jeffrey over the last couple of days has been stalking her more than usual and the very tip of her tail disapeared ( it looks more normal now as befor it had appeared to have grown longer and transparent), possibly from a bite. I am keeping a even more carefull eye on them now as I have concerns of him being a little more aggressive/ friendly than usual.
