Brain Sweling??

A few days ago I noticed that my axos head looked funny, it was a little red and slightly swollen. I figured that it bumped its head extra hard on something during one of its rampages around the tank, and I forgot about it.
I thought the swelling would go away after a day or so, but it has only gotten worse. Its head has funny lumps and visible veins in it now. It refuses to eat anything and I am very worried.
Here are some pictures

The last picture has a line showing how much swelling were dealing with
any suggestions about what I should do with the poor guy would be greatly appreciated...

Well. That could be a number of things. It could be natural (axies are good at deforming). If its a bump then the fridge would be a good idea till its gone doen. It could perhaps be a cist under the skin.(tho i doubt it) take it to the vets(belive it or not they do know a bit about them ahah)

I dont think vets on Hawaii know much about them, there rarely kept as pets here. But I recommend taking it to the vet.

It looks a little better now, the swelling has not gone down but the color has returned to normal...
The vets here are no good. Reid is right, the vets here dont know much about them. I called one once and they didnt even know what an axolotl was. Sad.
