Breeding of Ambystoma opacum.

hi folks
may i ask if A.opacum need any light?
i keep them in Cooler Boxes without any light to maintain a stable lower temperatures at 22-23C.
do they need any water dish? i read they might drown etc.
i used a mixture of fine coco husk soil and bark chips as substrate with pieces of driftwoods as hiding places
is this simple setup ok for them?

I would provide a water dish, just as long as it is easy to get out of, it should be safe.
