One of the other issues Hikaru seems to have is a damaged leg. No wound but she's holding it twisted behing her back, as if she was in a half nelson. It clicks if i gently move it but she can move it herself,(the other one doesent click) could this be putting her off her food?

If it is damaged, and dislocated rather than broken, what can be done about it? will she heal it herself or just adjust to it. This was the first thing I noticed 2 weeks ago.

I don't know enough about axolotl injuries to know. But I would give her time and make sure she is over the other problems caused by that unfortunate water change. Hopefully, the experts will have a better idea, but I'm guessing she will get used to it, whether it goes back to normal or not.

I wonder if there is a safe way to splint it into the correct position?

You have two choices. 1st is to leave it alone and let it heal broken and bent but if fungus starts to grow cut it off. 2nd choice is to numb the leg with 2 drops of orajel remove it with a razor blade and let a new one grow in about 3-4 months.
