I am not really sure what you mean. When you refer to "they", whom do you mean? Are you saying the newt gives off light?

sorry...i mean the bubbles don't give of any color. They (the bubbles) appeared about 3days ago and I have a filter.

Hailee, I suggest that you check the hardness and pH of the water. Hard water often causes foaming, white bubbles at the surface.
