Burial?

Our 12 year old Japanese Fire Belly died today. Skippy deserves a decent burial but we live in an appartment so don't have a yard. What do you do with your deceased?

Thanks, Lilia

Lilia, if you want to give Skippy a burial, why not in a public park under a tree?

Others, is there any possible problem with pathogens if the newt was ill?

Sorry about your loss. I agree with Swan, find a nice park or wooded area and bury it. Maybe mark the spot with a nice stone. I think if it's buried deep enough, pathogens are very unlikely to spread.
