It has been brought to my attention lately that several users are linking their businesses in their profiles. To make things clear I have changed the title of this line in our user profiles to read "Personal" at the beginning. That means no business links. If your personal home page is located on your business' web site, then link directly to the personal page, not to the root of the site.
The type of business is irrelevant. It is well known that there are no commercial links on this web site. The only exception is the testimonial section, and that is not for advertising.
Usernames who need to change their URL include: tim (not to be confused with Tim Johnson, tj), duktig (John Duktig), pollywog (Andrew Tillson-Willis) and cloth. I'm sure there are others.
Please don't be offended by this - it's just a fundamental aspect of the site that there is no commercial aspect to it. I can't with good conscience accept donations to this site if I know there are links from it to companies.
