Can anyone identify this toad?

Found in the Florida everglades, but not in any of my books...... I would say bufo marinus, but he was too colorful.... any ideas?

Based on the size and shape of the paratoid glands, and also the ridges that run behind the eyes and down toward the snout, this is a Southern Toad, A. terrestris
 
+1. Those knobs on the cranial crests are unmistakeable.
 
Wow.. He is so large and colorful! My books say these guys are like 2 inches long, and he was more like four... He had such beautiful coloring too!
 
Your book is wrong, then. They run about the same size range as American toads- up to 4.5" or so. Color on them (and on a lot of toads) is incredibly variable.
