I don´t think that the axies will eat it, because it doesn´t fell down to the bottom - it´s only swimming at the surface. Besides that freeze dried bloodworms aren´t nutritious. Better are frozen bloodworms (cubes) or living ones. But the best are earthworms.
They will eat it, but it would be like you subsisting on Cheesy Poofs. Much of the nutritional value is lost in the freeze drying process as the cell walls are broken and the "good stuff" leaks out.
Frozen foods loose some value too, but not nearly as much.
With axolotls, nothing beats out good old fashioned live nightcrawlers as the superior food of choice. That and they are cheap/readily available most anywhere (or free if you have a fertilizer and pesticide free yard!).
Have you read the feeding articles on the Axolotl Site and Caudata Culture? Between the two you will end up with very happy, healthy axolotls.
Thanks everyone for the replies. I was just wondering when I run out of frozen cubed blood-worms, can I use the freeze dried. Thanks for the response or I would of wasted money and made a bad choice in what to feed them.
