Can I feed these things...II

I found a few of these in my garden so far this season. I don't ever remember
seeing them before. It looks like something Gary Larson invented. Anyone
know what it is and whether newts might like it?

both my sals and frog have accepted the few i've found with tweezers. if you can't get them to eat them then destroy them since they are not native and prey on earthworms

So that is the famous flatworm. I remember that thread. It is really gross looking.

Interestingly enough, most of the earthworms in the US aren't native either, so they're not really doing any damager to speak of. Just a sidenote.
