Can someone help me figure out this enclosure size equation?

Total length of animal in cm x 0.01 = surface area m of the terrarium for two specimens.

Seems straight forward or I am calculating wrong but the area i get seems to small for two or even one.

for example 6 x 0.01 = 0.06 m
 
Hi Sean, I am not sure what species you are keeping , but in my experience the larger square cm you can provide the better. If you newt is 6 cm then a minimum of 30 cm square (12 inches square) is what I might consider for one. Part of the reason for a larger size is you have a greater chance of having a more stable temperature, humidity, etc.
