Illness/Sickness: Can someone please tell me if she's sick?

Hi, this is my axolotl, Juanita. I have recently noticed marks on her (her face worries me).
I am not sure if she has a fungus or if she is sick. i don't think she was looked after well with her previous owner (she was kept in gravel tank, she had no hide, and she was fed beef heart EVERY day, and its very fattening) Do i have to worry about other axolotls that share the same tank?

On her face you can see a dark yellow spot, not sure why, but I'm worried about it. I could possibly be marking on her, like the one on her tail (it was determined by other users that its just one of her markings)

Hello Jawdoss, if those white speckles are normal I don't think they're fungus. I don't see many Coppers (which Juanita seems to be) but that yellow spot looks like a build-up of pigment rather than a symptom of illness. Is she eating well? Any signs of stress? Has her behaviour recently changed at all?

If she is still eating well and doesn't appear unduly stressed, then don't worry too much unless someone more experienced can offer another viewpoint.

Always a good sign! It wouldn't worry me unless someone else offered another possible explanation then

If you shine a light on her face, do the spots shine back? if so these are natural and nothing to worry about.
If it looks like cotton wool and isnt shiny then it will be fungus, this usually starts on their gills unless they have a cut on their body
