Can you guys please help me with my newt cage?????

OK I am starting a cage with some Chinese Fire Bellies and I am not sure on what kind of habitat and stuff they need. The pet store's cage didn't look sufficient for the salamanders, and I wanna know what kind of things they need (ie food, habitat.....) thanx 4 ur help!

Cage?

a) CFBN's need a TANK, not a cage. Supply your newt with sufficient water (mostly) as well as landspace (floating lillypads, rocks breaking the surface of the water, etc)

b) DONT put a heater in the tank, keep it below 70 degrees.

c) the best food for these newts are frozen bloodworms, you can order live worms off the net tho...live is the best option, usually.

Read some of the articles on this site for good info. This is merely the gist of it.
