interesting story I ordered "roughskin" newts on a site when I was in college on the east coast when I first decided to get into this hobby, shortly I moved back to the west coast brought them with me. I got a 30-gallon tank for them 2 months later I got 2 clutches of eggs. started out with 33 hatch which was pretty much all of them, gave 2 to a buddy still alive, had 3 fatalies, they hatched mid may to now I have 0 morphs. All of them are doing fine and I'm guessing they won't be morphing for at least another 2 months. They have to be one of the slowest species to grow, I'm getting sick and tired of hatching brine shrimps LOL. Just figure I share this
