My friend said he feeds his axolotls carrots and has been doing so for a while without problem.

Question:

Can you feed carrot to axolotl adults???

I wouldn't think so, but I don't think they'd be bad for them either. I don't think they produce the enzymes to properly digest plant material. They'd probably just pass right through them.

Carrots are binding, I wouldn't feed them to axolotls.

Axolotls are carnivors...why would someone want to feed them carrots?
