Ceratophyllum demersum flowering??????

I'm not an expert on aquatic plants but i looked at my Hornwart today and saw what appeared to be flower buds coming out of the end, is this normal?
I've only had the plant a few days.

Yes it is.....hornwort in our store has done that a few times......lucky you!!
