I was looking today at a 1998 TRAFFIC Bulletin on "Wildlife Trade in Yunnan Province, China, at the Border with Vietnam" that shows "Echinotriton asperrimus" crossing the border in the following form: "live/liquor/dried"
Also live "Tylototriton spp." and Chinese giant salamanders. I've seen gecko and cobra liquor sold in places like Hanoi before, but never salamander liquor!
