Hi all,
Beginner here. Just wanted to check if my setup is ok? I plan on running my chiller through a canister filter instead of a pump.
I have a Hailea HC-300A chiller and the specs say it has a flow rate of 1000~2500L/H. I want to buy an Aqua One 1250 canister filter, which has a maximum flow rate of 1400L/H. I assumed that since the maximum flow of my canister exceeds the minimum flow of the chiller, this will be ok. Is this correct?
Also, my tank is only 80L, so I assume most of the gear will be running at pretty low rates.
Thanks for your help!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
