I'm working on slowly feeding my 6 month old axie every other day, but I want to make sure he stays healthy. He's a dwarf, so looks fat from the side, but how about from above? Is he doing ok?

He will come out for food, so I chop up a worm and he will only take 1-2 pieces, so I leave the rest in his bowl and he will graze later. I leave bloodworms in the bowl over night. He eats those too.

Personally I think that he looks very well. His stomach is as wide as his head, which is the general rule for a healthy axolotl.

Awesome. And 6 months isn't too young to reduce feedings? He would eat every day, but it gets pricey since I'm buying worms until my red wigglers breed.
