Cricket water?

I was wondering if anyone has made their own cricket gel for a water source for their crickets rather than purchasing the stuff from the stores? If so, I would love to know how you made it.

hello! it's me summer, i use lettices also to feed them. i buy that gel stuff now. but i use to take a cap from a soda/pop can and put a little cat food in it. it worked, but i just use the gel now.
