Cynops cyanurus - blue shine ???

In September last year I got a couple of fantastic species. However the time came a doubt! And this doubt was about the size of the female, since it is known that they are generally larger than males, but in my case, the newt to be indicated in all the female was much smaller than the newt that with all the certainty is the male. In discussion came to the conclusion that she had not yet reached maturity and that was in the growth phase. Yet today is a little smaller than the male cut. However, to my despair, a few days he developed the blue shine. As I brightness can arise in females, but only in the breading season. Someone want to comment on this? Very grateful! Do you mean that your female develops ablue sheen in her tail?
Never seen this on my newts. Can you take a picture of her? How sure are you, it's indeed a female?

For the issue is really that, it will be a female? I think I sold a juvenile rather than a female, which now is proving to be a male! For the blue shine will from neck to tail, at first I did not care much because they hardly noticed but is now more visible. At the moment I can not post pics!
