Hi everyone!
l'm delighted to say that my Cynops cyanurus started to lay eggs in August. l'ts gone quiet now, no eggs since mid September and although a number of the eggs did not make it l still have a few larvae. lt's not been easy for me with this species, however with help from friends including the excellent care sheet on Caudata Culture l feel l should hopefully do well with this species in the future.

This was the first species I raised from eggs and still remains my favorite. Mine do great in warmer temps with chopped blackworms. I love that they stay aquatic with no problems when they morph. My group has been laying eggs on and off since March, I have some recent morphs and now have more freshly hatched larvae.

Good luck with yours!!

Mitch

Congrats, again, Richard. Looks like you have cracked the problems you had with the adults!
