To be more precise, they're from the southern part of Akita City.

John, they're newly caught. I only began feeding them bloodworm yesterday. There's some interesting dorsal variation among them as well. This completes my north-to-south, east-to-west collection!

This speckled/mottled individual looks a lot like the one I have from the northern prefecture of Fukushima (also Tohoku race?) pictured at:
