Daphnia culture

So recently when I was out looking for a good fishing hole, I found a watershed pond. I went down to look in it to see what I could see. When I looked in the shallows I saw hordes of daphnia and fairy shrimp floating through the water. I gathered a sample of them and put them in my 10 g pond setup. What all do I need to do? I have elodea, reed grass, and some sort of moss. I have a light source and no filter.
