My axie Moby has come down with a terrible case of something. His skin is peeling, his gills have shrunk a bit and aren't as bushy, (he is a white albino by the way) his skin is alot more transparent than usual and alot of viens are showing through. I've given him a couple of salt baths and he is now resting in the fridge. Can anyone help me out??? Is there any hope for poor little Moby??? Does anyone think he'll make it??? PLEASE HELP QUICK!!!!!

what are your water paremeters? temp and size of tank along with occupants.

the skin peeling and gills becoming less fluffy sounds like it could be ammonia burns? veins can be pretty noticable on albinos but i find i see mine more when hes stressed or hot.

keep up with the salt baths for the peeling and the fridge will keep him calm and cool.

he seems to be the only on stressed. my other two are fine. the temp is high but i have taken care of that, and all readings seem to fine.

i usually see his veins, but now we can see every little capillery all over his skin. he's been in the fridge for three days.
what are the chances of him surviving?

when they are stressed you can usually see their capillaries quite well, because of the lack of pigment in their skin. If he's starting to get better in the fridge, then i'd say he would probably live

What are the actual readings of the tank Mel?
Is he still eating? Even whilst being in the fridge?

i hope hes ok
