Hi! So I’ve had my Axolotl Echo since he was about 1.5 inches. He’s grown up so fast and super healthy! At this point he’s a little over a year old and about 9.5-10 inches. However, in late December of last year I was doing a water change and he got spooked and jumped out of the tank. He hit the floor and I got him back inside ASAP. His tail had gotten a slight scrape along the fin over the base of his legs. I’ve been keeping his parameters good and doing water-changes twice a week. It’s March now and the scrape healed up. However, the area of the scrape flattened so now his tail fin has a dip in that area. Do you think this will go back to normal or is this permanent? I feel so bad for my baby :( I’ll post a before-photo and an after-photo with a circle around the dip in question.

its what you might call cosmetic damage, it will go back to normal eventually, may take months or it may take years.
