I have had two California newts of a year and a half. I have just recently moved and noticed one to be bloated for about two days and very pale. This went away but now his head is discolored. It has turned to a yellowish green color. I have seperated him but don't know what else to do. Please help!

I have no idea what the skin color means, but it sounds like the newts were stressed by moving, or there is something wrong with the water at the new location. Are the newts aquatic (I assume so)? What is your procedure for taking care of the water in the new tank (and/or the quarantine tank that he's in)? How do you dechlorinate? If you have any doubts about water quality, you might want to keep him in spring water temporarily.
