Was looking for worms and crickets and other food items and thought I'd bring my digital camera along. Too bad I didn't have my own camera last spring (I only got to borrow a friend's for a short time), because there were a lot of southern red-backed salamanders (Plethodon serratus) lurking around.
I couldn't get a better photo of the blue-tailed skink, since he scurried away immediately!
