Question: DMF Bait Co. red wrigglers?

Hey there everybody! im new to the forums and I have a question about DMF bait company's red wrigglers/panfish worms. are safe for my axolotl? on their site they say that they are chemical free and safe for pets, but the only way I can obtain them is through my local bait shop or meijer/walmart and Im kind of sketchy on if the worms could still carry parasites?
