I was just looking at my axolotl I've had for about two months now and I noticed like bumps on the bottoms of his front feet, that are black - which I know the black is normal. I was just wondering if they are pads or bumps?

He also has like bumps on his toes, that look like joints, do axolotls have joints?

Thanks guys.

Of course they have joints, every vertebrate has joints. Their feet have a very similar (almost identical) skeletal structure to your hands. The differences are mainly in proportions.
As for the bumps, i suposse they could be called pads...they are calluses that improve the grip of the foot. Some species have cornifications (this is particularly common in burrowing species).
