Do they have mudpuppies at bait shops?

If they do, are they good pet quality? I am definately able to take proper care of them.

Not usually. Mudpuppies are fairly hard to come by.

You can occasionally find larval tiger salamanders ("water dogs"), but they're usually in terrible condition.

I've only seen a mudpuppy for sale one time and this was a couple years ago. They were calling it an axolotl! It was so cute, but not what i originally came in for and i figured it wouldn't get along w/ my axolotls so i left disappointed.
