Dwarf siren breeding success

Well, it's been a while since the last time they layed, but my P. axanthus are finally laying again. This time they're laying a lot more eggs; I've pulled 40 so far and there's a tank full right now. Unfortunately, fertility rates seem really low, but we'll see what happens.

Here's a crappy photo of the enclosure. Don't mind the mosquito larvae all over in there; not sure if they adults eat many of them, but it doesn't hurt (much) to feed them out.

I found some lesser siren larvae this weekend, so I'll have to raise them up and see what happens. Very cute little guys!
 
That's great news Peter, hopefully the fertility rate increaces as they lay more eggs. Congratulations!
